Tonia is dedicated to preparing operating room nurses to sit for the CAPA Exam. She is an expert in perioperative nursing with more than 20 years of experience in a variety of roles including clinical manager, clinical nurse specialist, charge nurse, and education coordinator. Currently she is the Manager of Clinical Education for Perioperative Services at a major Level One Trauma Center in Washington, D.C. In this role, she manages the Education Team which oversees education for the Operating Room, Pre & Post Op, Sterile Processing, Radiology Nursing and Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Tonia shares her expertise and passion for OR nursing in this course as she provides a thorough review of CAPA content based on the CAPA exam content outline and prepares participants to pass the CAPA exam.
